Cornerstones Nursing Education Program

As part of its Cornerstones Nursing Education Program, Delaware County Memorial Hospital provides a comprehensive, 12 to 16-week orientation for registered nurses entering or re-entering the acute care setting. The program is comprised of classroom education, competency-based clinical support, peer support, mentoring, case presentations and hands-on simulations. Students may be eligible to choose a course of study in one or more of the following areas:

• ICU/CCU
• Progressive Care Unit
• Telemetry
• Rehab
• Oncology/Hematology
• Medical/Surgical
• Emergency Department
